HEY YOU GUUUUUUUUUUYS, remember when the story broke at the beginning of April?  Well, we have even MORE confirmations that it is indeed happening!
Some of the original cast, like Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, and Corey Feldman have expressed interest in this upcoming project.  In addition to casting Steven Spielberg, according to director Richard Donner, came up with the sequel’s story. Spielberg wrote the story for the original film, and his participation is reassuring  to many Goonies fans.
Goonies 2 would take  take place 30 years after the events of the first film and would feature the children of Mikey, Brand, and the rest of the gang.  We’ll update as more info comes out.
