WDRD0306-610Corporate espionage, crooked cops, and big explosions…

In February, Ubisoft revealed that Watch Dogs would be arriving during the company’s first quarter of  this year (April – June)….Ubisoft finally appears to be ready to make it official.

Watch Dogs will be released on May 27th.

Watch Dogs for many was a very exciting announcement. A huge studio coming up with a brand new take on an open world format game. They got everyone excited and then the delays started being announced. “Will not be available at launch” became “to be announced…”

It was disappointing, however I have it on good authority it was because the game was simply put: not fun. They had a lot of changes to make and they did not want to release a game with the possibility for multiple sequels like Assassins Creed, that was not good. So they had to go back to the drawing board and change a lot. And ever since this news hit my ears, I’ve been skeptical to get excited for it.

I hope they’ve come up with an enthralling story and some more compelling gameplay because they have a great idea….it just has to come to proper fruition. I’ll be waiting on reviews for this one but for those of you who are excited at the concept, here’s the first glimpse of the story:
