Looks like Marvel fans might get to see the Master Of The Mystic Arts Dr. Strange on the big screen sooner than expected.  It was announced today that Scott Derrickson will be taking the director’s chair for the upcoming unnamed-uncasted-unEVERYTHING Marvel Dr. Strange film.

Derrickson is known for his 2008 remake of The Day The Earth Stood StillThe Exorcism of Emily Rose and Sinister. His latest feature, the supernatural thriller Deliver Us From Evil starring Eric Bana, is coming out in less than a month, arriving in theaters on July 2nd.
