We love supporting awesome kickstarters here at Aggressive Comix, and this latest is no slouch!  From the team that previously directed the popular short film Deathstroke: Arkham Assassin with over 250,000 views and mentioned on big sites like Game Informer, we have the next project for directors Chris White & Larry White.

Ravager will be a story that revolves around Rose Wilson (Ravager), the daughter of notorious assassin Slade Wilson (Deathstroke), characters from the DC Comics Universe, and big players in the “Arrow” continuity.  The film will follow her through training with her (manipulative and brutal) father Slade. We’ll also see Rose gain her superhuman abilities and go on her first mission against Brother Blood & his demon worshiping cult….including a not so friendly Raven.  They have some fantastic perks, and a full cast listed on the official kickstarter.

What makes this project special, aside from the talent of the brother’s White, is the female centric hero story.   Considering everything that happened yesterday with Marvel’s big Thor announcement, the time is right for Ravager.   With only 23 days left in their campaign, hopefully the strong girl power surrounding big name comics right now will help.
