It looks like he who goes by Sherlock, Smaug, Khan, and Benedict Cumberbatch might have confirmed the addition of Simon Pegg to J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Wars: VII.

Over the course of SDCC, rumors always abound about casting, practical jokes, etc.  But this one comes from a direct quote during an interview with MTV:
