According to TV Wise, during Straczynski’s spotlight panel during SDCC, he announced he would be “sitting down to write the feature film” of Babylon 5.  It seems like this would be the time and sci fi cinematic landscape to do such a thing, with the 5th installment of the Terminator and a new TV series on the horizon as well as rumbling of the Battlestar Galactica feature moving forward, this could be happening.

He also stated he would like to use past members of the cast in new roles in the film, whether that means in the same roles only in the future or as completely new characters is unclear for a film.  “I’d love to see Bruce as the President of the Earth Alliance”, he said.  The film reportedly would start production sometime in 2016.
