Warner Bros. TV is continuing to go its live-action DC Comics TV universe. In the upcoming months DC will have gone from one show (Arrow) to four (The Flash, Gotham and Constantine) and already is developing another series with Supergirl. It now seems its next step is taking their franchise to Cable networks. It is planning on releasing a series on TNT called Titans. Titans is one of three TNT drama pilots stuck on the runaway, waiting for that old green light. TNT is currently undergoing a regime change and might cause delays on this and many other projects. The other two are Lumen from Amblin TV and the Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay-produced Cocaine Cowboys… which sounds… GREEEEEAAAATTTTTTT.
Titans is expected to be drafted by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman and Marc Haimes. Titans revolves around the group of side kick Super Heroes from the DC Universe. The series is expected to center around Dick Grayson, who will be emerging from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of this group of Super Heroes. The cast is expected to include Starfire, Raven and many others. Goldsman executive produces, with Haimes serving as co-executive producer for WBTV’s cable division Warner Horizon. Biggest question we have here is will it be the same actor who is expected to play Nightwing on Arrow.
