We love Sir Ian McKellen in pretty much everything he does, and what a long and illustrious career!

The film we’re anxiously awaiting now has the tall gentlemen portraying the most famous detective in history (sorry Batman) Mr. Sherlock Holmes.  Here is the first full trailer for Mr. Holmes:

Directed by Oscar-winner Bill Condon (Gods and Monsters), McKellen leads an all star cast featuring Academy Award nominee Laura Linney (The Savages), Frances de la Tour (Harry Potter) and newcomer Milo Parker.

Mr Holmes will be released in UK cinemas on June 19th, 2015.  No mention of a US release date yet.
