Studio MDHR, the company behind the hugely popular video game Cuphead, is bringing their characters to Netflix for an animated series called….”The Cuphead Show”.
As announced this morning-
“Coming to you in full color and cine-sound, it’s…The Cuphead Show! Witness the wondrous Inkwell Isles as you’ve never seen them before in an original series inspired by classic animation styles of the 1930s. Now in production by the talented team at @Netflix Animation!”
Our friends over at Collider say that CJ Kettler will serve as the Executive Producer for King Features, along with creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer serving as Executive Producers for Studio MDHR. Netflix Animation is producing “The Cuphead Show”, Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts) will be executive producing, as well as Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling) serving as co-executive producer.
