From executive producer Brad Pitt comes a new BRICKTASTIC competition series on FOX, “LEGO Masters”….wait, what? Really? Okay then.

Our friends over at The Hollywood Reporter exclusively broke the news that FOX has given a full series order to “LEGO Masters.” There is no set episode count yet, but it sounds pretty awesome.
Produced by Endemol Shine North America and Brad Pitt’s Plan B, the competition show will feature 12 teams of two going head to head in ambitious brick-building challenges. Each episode will see one pair progress to the next round until the finale, during which the three top teams will square off for the ultimate LEGO trophy.
President of Alternative Programming at Fox Rob Wade says:
“Lego Masters has everything you want in a reality competition: an incredibly quirky and unique twist on a brand revered by billions of people, exciting team-based battles driven by creativity and a premise that’s ultra-family friendly. It’s bold, fun and unlike anything else on television, and we’re thrilled to bring LEGO Masters to American fans.”
We’ll of course let you know what we hear about the series.
