You’re probably already familiar with Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner’s fall to Earth from a whopping 24 miles up. It captivated millions into watching a live feed of the death-defying stunt just this October 14th. After his plummet, he was written into the history books as the first human being to travel faster than the speed of sound without the assistance of any sort of craft. During a four-minute, 20-second free fall, he reached an incredible speed of Mach 1.24 or 833.9 miles per hour, according to an official with the National Aeronautic Association…
