After 12 years, Coca-Cola is bring back Surge!!!!! I am one of the many who joined the Surge Movement on facebook! Why because I remember drinking these things while playing hours of video games. That’s right eat it Red Bull Surge is where its at!
The Coca-Cola will begin selling 12-packs of this citrus drink on Amazon Monday. This will be the first beverage being sold exclusively online!
Surge, was originally launched in 1996 as a response to Mountain Dew. The drink has a massive love at first but over time parents I blame felt kids didn’t need to drink this stuff and it then quickly faded away in the early 2000s. But children and teens of the ’90s have recalled Surge fondly since then, some more fanatically than others. Coca-Cola said a Facebook group called “SURGE Movement,” with more than 128,000 likes, played a large part in the decision making process to bring this beverage back… if that is the case I say we start a group on facebook call BRING BACK ECTO COOLER!!!!!
