We just recently posted a rumor stating that Dr. Doom might be a woman in the upcoming Fantastic 4 Re-Vamp. According to director Josh Trank,

“The THR gender speculation is also bullshit. Next.”

Trank also confirmed that the leaked story for the film to phrase it as nicely as he did is bullshit too. (such an under utilized word! bullshit… love it!), YET on the other hand Fox’s Legal team sent e-mails telling everyone to remove the plot from their sites. Usually that means its accurate? Maybe?

Trank might have been on a war path yesterday because the plot might have actually leaked. But remember this is the guy who even denied Michael B. Jordan being up for Johnny Storm, while he now the one officially attached to the project. So when Trank says the rumor is false, who really knows.  He did send out a follow up Tweet though saying…

“All of the rumors I’ve debunked so far were really false, except for one of them.”

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
