Heroes was known for an amazing season 1 and then a series of mediocre to miserable follow up season.  The show became perdictable and down right laugh able at points. When I and many others first heard that Heroes was to return I know we were not the only ones to think why bother? This is such a waste of time and money.  Then we saw the trailer… Didn’t give us a lot of hope. BUT because we loved that first season we chose to not quit on the series even though we did in the past. We decided to see what some time and actual thought could do to this show.

The new season starts off Noah (HRG) on June 13th a year into the “past”.  He was at a convention where Evos (Evolved Humans) and Humans at what appeared to be a peace conference. When a massive explosion happens. HRG seems to be the only one to survive the blast and looks on at the devastation looking for Clare he now estranged daughter.  Zachary Levi was there as well but you do not see him till a little later. Zachary’s character, Luke Collins, is on a quest to take out all Evos. He and his wife believed in the cause of uniting humans and evos living together. The explosion killed his son which is now fueling him and his wife to take out all evos.

I really enjoy the original show because it gives people a mystery and wonder once more to the show. Season one was great because we knew nothing about the characters and grew to love them but after a we actually grew to hate them.  I feel the problem was they never knew where to actually take the show. The new series is very refreshing and great to have a level of mystery to it once more. I will be watching the second episode for sure and really gives me a level of hope for what the season has in store. The new characters all seem pretty rich in character defects and heart. Also the return of a few of the original characters are cool to see.
