Today The Verge reported that Homestar Runner co-creator Matt Chapman announced that he and his brother Mike are bringing the cartoon back following a successful April Fool’s Day cartoon — the first new content posted to the site in over three years.

“I would just love to be making cartoons with those characters again, that’s sort of the first thing that I’m thinking,” said Chapman, and while he said it would be “amazing” to do the cartoon full-time, that’s not the main goal. “I’m just excited to make these dumb animal characters talk again.”

This would possibly mean greatness like Teen Girl Squad, Strongbad Emails, and maybe more of the epic that is Trogdor.
