During a new Rolling Stone interview, filmmaker Michael Bay might have confirmed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will feature Krang.

Here’s is a piece from the article

They start with Ninja Turtles animation. Pablo Helman, a visual-effects supervisor who worked on the Star Wars prequels, appears onscreen and shows Bay the latest version of Krang, a new-to-the-movies villain who is, essentially, a disembodied brain inside a giant robot. “So we’ve eliminated the tentacles,” Helman explains. “Is it too monster-ish?”

“He could have some tentacles,” says Bay. “I just don’t want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus.”

We also found this concept art from TMNT 1 and apparently the first two are concepts from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows:

Anytime Bay wants to change iconic looks makes me always wonder why he still makes films but whatever in another form of absolute fan service it seems like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is getting now Krang in addition to the already popular Bebop and Rocksteady.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows comes to theaters June 3, 2016.
