Ok ok, so maybe this isn’t strictly the most Aggressive Comix thing we’ve ever posted, but we love humor and music so deal with it.

If you aren’t aware, two years ago JGL (Joseph Gordon Levitt) was a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.  Some brilliant junior producer came up with the idea of a Lip Sync battle between Anthony Mackie (Avengers, The Night Before) and JGL, resulting in this gem:

The skit has since morphed into a full fledged series on SPIKE, and remains their highest rated show.  There have been some pretty spectacular performances, if you haven’t seen Oscar winner Anne Hathaway’s “Wrecking Ball” vs Emily Blunt’s “Piece Of My Heart”, you really should:

But the real reason we’re here is this most recent battle, once again pitting Mackie and Levitt against each other.  Mackie opens with MC Hammer’s “2Legit2Quit”, and JGL counters (and in our mind wins) with Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation”.  Check it out and decide for yourself who won, let us know in the comments!
