We love Metroid here and apparently so do many others. I love when fans make something that is actually better than the shit we get from Hollywood. I mean we all agree we did not need another attempt at Fantastic Four yet we never think lets pursue something like METROID! The history and story behind that video game is rich enough to build a film franchise off of easily. I know you are still all butt hurt Nintendo from Super Mario Brothers but there are a lot of possibilities out their that you have yet to explore.

The classic Nintendo franchise, Metroid, envisioned through the lens of 60s-70s science fiction cinema such as 2001, Alien, and Solaris: this was the concept for Rainfall’s most recent production. Instead of using a modern approach, a style was developed more in tune with the themes that inspired the first Metroid game in 1986: isolation, exploration, and the wonders of deep space.
