Nick Fury and his beloved spy organization are bulking up on some backup for Joss Whedon’s ABC S.H.I.E.L.D. series. According to Deadline, Chun-Li, Mulan voice-actress, and Stargate: Universe actress Ming-Na Wen has been cast as Agent Melinda May. She’s described as a “soulful and slightly damaged by her combat experiences. Melinda is an ace pilot, a weapons expert and a soldier who can — and has — gone beyond the call of duty.” Expect more casting news to come in the following weeks!
