Gimmick Tees has two limited edition t-shirts available to order this week only. They are both inspired by the well-known joke that the person on the away party wearing the “red shirt” on the original Star Trek series was always killed.
The first design titled “Redshirt of Death” features a cool skull incorporating the federation logo and the call letters of the U.S.S. Enterprise.
They took it one step further with their second design. Its based on a Trek-related story that ran on on a few websites about the actor who currently plays the role of “the most interesting man in the world” for Dos Equis. Apparently he actually played a redshirt, albeit briefly, in an episode of the original series called “The Corbomite Maneuver”.
And perfectly playing to the gimmick of his current beer-shilling identity, he was too interesting to kill!
