Potential Spoilers Ahead… Continue at your own risk
Toy Fair 2014 was this week in NYC. At the event the toy line for Winter Soldier was on display and one figure left some scratching their head. That figure was none other than Red Skull. Does this mean that OMG YES RED SKULL IS BACK! (which obviously he will be back eventually it is Red Skull) or is it just they made a toy of him to sell more well toys? I mean after all at the release of every Batman movie they re-introduced characters in different packaging so morons like myself would be like BUT MAAAAAAA THIS ONE IS WEARING A RED BELT!!! MINE WAS ONLY WEARING A BLACK ONE! (while the rest of the toy is EXACTLY the same). So Marvel could easily be going down that same path. Or they might be giving out an early hint that Red Skull is back. However there is one exception to this idea. The soundtrack. The soundtrack listing which might be a dead give away… They put a clever title on it though… so it took some time for us to decode this one… BUT the title is “Alexander Pierce is the Red Skull”… Took us like 6 hours to decode that one… we are getting faster I say.
This might not be a HUGE suprise to some considering in interviews Redford revealed he’d be playing “a villain.”
But whether or not we see Red Skull in Captain America: The Winter Soldier will only be 100% known on April 4.
