After ALL the speculation that Netflix or Hulu was going to save NBC’s Community for a fabled #SixSeasonsAndAMovie, it looks like we’ll at least be getting season six.

Deadline and Yahoo are both reporting that Yahoo has in fact rescued the series, and it will be airing for a full 13 episode season in the fall.  Dan Harmon created Community and is returning as executive producer with Russ Krasnoff, Gary Foster and Chris McKenna. “I am very pleased thatCommunity will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo,” Harmon said in the announcement of the deal.  “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!”

No word yet on whether or not the movie part will happen.
