Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball franchise will be returning with Dragon Ball: Super. This will be the DragonBall Series since Dragon Ball GT which was 18 years ago.
Dragon Ball: Super will be set several years after the defeat of Majin Buu.
Fuji TV producer Osamu Nozaki announced that the series will be developed by Toriyama, the original creator.himself,
“As I read the plot [of the series] I’ve already received from Akira Toriyama, my dreams for this begin to expand. An enemy even stronger than Buu or Freeza may appear…”
The new series is set to premiere in Japan on Fuji TV in July, airing Sundays at 9 a.m. but knowing the popularity that the series has in the states I would not be surprised to see it gracing Cartoon Network one day… hopefully on a little thing I liked to call Toonami…
