It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, I’m not talking about Christmas – though it does seem like every time I walk into a department store I time travel into a winter wonderland of December – but today I’m talking about Halloween! And we all know our favorite part about Halloween…aside from scaring children with spooky Halloween costumes…is the parties! But what party is fun without some spooky Halloween treats? By adding a little creativity to an average party dish, you can turn any boring snack into a spooky treat! For instance, turning classic pigs in a blanket into these delicious spooky mummy pigs in a blanket. It’s easy, Halloweeny, and deliciously cute!

INGREDIENTS

  • mini hot dogs
  • canned biscuit dough
  • yellow mustard

 

STEP ONE

step1

Assemble your weenies!

 

STEP TWO

Roll out your biscuit dough and stretch it into long, flat strips.

 

STEP THREE

Slice several strips of dough. This will be used to wrap up your mummies!

 

STEP FOUR

Wrap each dough strip around each mini hot dog, leaving a gap where the face will go later.

Bake your mummies at 375° F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
