It sure seems like anytime Warner Brothers/DC Comics releases a new poster or trailer, Marvel isn’t far behind. This time, it’s the Sony-Marvel partnership of Spider-Man: Homecoming hot on the heels of the Justice League trailer drop. Three posters, one tease, and one full trailer!
Sure, we’ve kind of had enough Peter Parker films now, but what’s one more in the grand scheme of superhero lore?
Spider-Man: Homecoming theoretically picks up right where Captain America: Civil War left off, with highschool Peter Parker coming to terms with his abilities. Tom Holland is back as the webslinger, as well as Marisa Tomei as Aunt Mae and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.
What’s really interesting here is more of Michael Keaton as the villainous Vulture, a role many Birdman fans feel is right up the Juilliard-trained actor’s alley. I mean who else could go from Mr. Mom, to Batman, to Beetlejuice?
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to release on July 7th, 2017.
