Sounds like Don Cheadle is joining LeBron James in the upcoming “Space Jam 2” film from Warner Bros. Pictures.
According to Deadline, the “Avengers” star will be joining the Terence Nance-directed sequel to the original 1996 film, “Space Jam.”
In case you forgot-
“Space Jam” had Swackhammer (Danny DeVito), an evil alien theme park owner, needign a new attraction at Moron Mountain. His gang, the Nerdlucks heads to Earth to kidnap Bugs Bunny (Billy West) and the Looney Tunes, and Bugs challenges them to a basketball game to determine their fate. The aliens agree, but they steal the powers of NBA basketball players, including Larry Bird (Larry Bird) and Charles Barkley (Charles Barkley) — so Bugs gets some help from superstar Michael Jordan (Michael Jordan).
Ryan Coogler (“Creed,” “Black Panther“) wrote the screenplay. We’ll let you know what else we hear about the film.
WB has a release date of July 16th 2021 set for “Space Jam 2”.
