In 2014, cosplayer Ani-Mia, started a Christmas Toy Drive for the Central Union Mission in Washington, DC to help their Operation Christmas Miracle. With the help of her fanbase, she was able to collect $1,700 in donations to buy toys and drop them off at the mission.

For 2015, we at Aggressive Comix, decided to team up with her to help her expand her charity’s reach and also provide her with a platform to use. Through lots of promotion and her giving fanbase, we were able to raise $7,680 for the toy drive.

After countless numbers of trips to Toys R Us, Target and various other retailers, we were able to fill a ten foot U-Haul truck full of toys to the shelter and dropped off the toys to the mission.

We can’t thank you enough for all of your help in making this year’s charity drive a complete success, more than quadrupedal the previous year’s donations. Without the fans of both Ani-Mia and Aggressive Comix, we couldn’t have been this successful and it’s given us a great record to break for next year.
