Hailed as the gamer worlds premiere comic book superhero experience, video games have yet to rival Rocksteady’s novel Arkham franchise. Now that much anticipated but surely obligatory follow-up is set for 2013 and confirmed to be drawing from the chronological backward leaping rumor in the series narrative. Arkham Origins will take Batman back to his beginnings with new spins on his iconic roots as we see foes in their first inductions within the gamer adapted mythos. Yet frighteningly, Rocksteady has now passed the torch down to Warner Brothers Game Montreal. Correspondingly they also announced the first handheld installment in the series, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, set for the 3DS and PS Vita. Expect Batman: Arkham Origins to be available for the Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 25, 2013 and check out Game Informer’s sneak peak at the Dark Knight and the games first announced antagonist: Deathstroke the Terminator.
