Artist continued profile. Let’s get a tiny bit personal:

– What are your goals as an artist?: At the moment my main goal is to get the book Iv’e been working on for ages finished. And to get my work out there more.

– Favourite artist/why?: At the moment it’s James Jean. His work is just amazing and inspiring. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Jean

– What do you think of Comics being made into movies?: When done right they can be brilliant. I saw Dredd recently and it was an awesome film.

– If someone created a Comic about your life what would they title it?:
I guess it would be “You Should Be Drawing”.

.
.
– Has reading a Comic ever changed your life? Which one/why? (If yes): I haven’t read any that have changed my life but The Dark Knight Returns was one book that showed me that comics can have huge emotional power in them. And how you can take an art form and turn it on its head for the better.

– Favourite Comic artist of all time/why?: I have SO many artists that I would consider my favourites but the ones that have inspired and influenced me the most would have to be Skottie Young, Humberto Ramos, Sean Murphy and Rob Guillory.

.
– Where there any defining moments in your life that have influenced your artistic style?: There was no one defining moment that influenced my style. It was more lots of moments involving Practice. Just constant practice with little victories along the way.

– If you could have any power from a Comic character, what would it be/why?: Ah I think I would have Wolverines healing ability, that way I could do anything and not have to worry about getting hurt.

– What do you prefer to snack on when creating a masterpiece?: I tend to drink pepsi when working.

– Where do you ‘draw’ your daily inspiration from?(See what I did there hehe): Inspiration is one of those things that can come and go so quickly. I usually get inspired
By comics, music and movies.

.
– If you were to grow up in another era, which would it be/why?:
I always liked the 1930’s. Because three piece suits, Tommy guns and dames are just too cool.

– Any thank you’s/shoutouts?: I want to thank the lads at All Star Comics Melbourne, My best mate Chris McQuinlan (Check out his Facebook page) I want to thank my family and friends and the people who like my artwork cause they keep me wanting to produce work. and of course thank you. Aggressive Comix for this.
