Following Ubisoft’s announcement that they’ll be making an Assassin’s Creed movie they announced the addition of a Watch Dogs film. What makes this news so darn exciting is that Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs are set in the same universe, according to game director Ashraf Ismail, and can lead to epic cinematic crossovers! Between sequels, crossovers, and well games; Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs are proving to be quite the lucrative investments.

For those more interested in the games, Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed 4 will be launching within three weeks of each other in October and November 2013. They’ll be available on the same platforms, PC, PS3, Xbox 360. The next generation Xbox One and PS4 are both confirmed for North America as well. If you’re interested in both franchises we strongly suggest you purchase both games for the same console, since easter eggs connecting the two games will be hidden within!
