Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still a ways away but we’re already starting to receive rumors about what it’s going to be like. The newest rumor has given us an idea of what we might expect from Lexcorp – and it’s potentially going to put the film on a collision course with…Facebook?
Batman-News is reporting that scenes at Lexcorp – Lex Luthor’s pride and joy – will be shot June 12th and 13th – and that the company is going to look very familiar:
A source close to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has informed me that production is heading to LexCorp next week. In Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, LexCorp is described as a young, edgy company. Think of it as a .com or Google type workplace. It’s a smart company with a stylish vibe, a youthful clash of rock and roll, preppy, and nerdy employees. Hipsters!
They might list Google but this is getting people to connect the role of Lex Luthor being played by Jesse Eisenberg….to his role as the founder of Facebook in The Social Network.
What do you think? Is Facebook going to be indirectly standing trial in the film as a major global company?
