First Batman got a reboot. Then The Hulk got a reboot. Then Spider-Man got a reboot. A Superman reboot is coming out this summer. Now there might be a new reboot on the way! David Goyer, writer of the Blade trilogy, and director of Blade Trinity recently mentioned that Marvel Studios is planning on rebooting Blade.

Many fans want Wesley Snipes back, but of course with a reboot, it’s better to have a new actor in the title role. When the first Blade was a pre-production, two actors were considered for the role, and I think they would have been good! Before Wesley Snipes, the two other possible candidates were Denzel Washington and Lawrence Fishburne. At their age, I can still see Denzel in the part (Not sure if he’ll be cast though hahaha).  Fishburne is playing the part of Perry White in this summer’s Man of Steel! As for Blade only time will tell if this vampire gets the reboot. Let us hope though that they keep Blade dark and don’t try and take a twilight twist… unless it is simply to make the meme of Blade killing Edward a reality!
