There were scores of fans excited when AMC announced they would be doing a spinoff of their hit show Breaking Bad following character shady lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) that helped Walter White (Bryan Cranston) so many times.
The spinoff series titled Better Call Saul after the billboards used by the character in Breaking Bad was picked up for a 10 episode first season. But, it appears as of today, the series has been picked up for an ADDITIONAL season, getting 2 before it even airs.
And on the mention of first airing, the initial premiere date has now been pushed back to sometime in 2015. “Production on Better Call Saul is underway and we could not be more proud of nor more excited about the work to date,” AMC president Charlie Collier said in a statement. “We have a strong history with Vince, Peter, Bob, the studio, and so many involved with this production; we are enjoying the process on Saul and all share a focus on making it a true television event. No half measures.”
