Aggressive Comix had the privilege of attending the Red Carpet premiere for Funimation’s US release of DragonBall Z: Resurrection F in New York this past Monday.
While you may have already seen our pre-release movie review by Rich over here. We were able to get some insights from the Cast and Crew as well as get another set of eyes on the film.
Before getting into the glitz and glam of the Red Carpet, I’ll give you a short answer on what I thought of the movie. I recommend giving Rich’s review here a read through, as even though we both have dramatically differing views on movies in general, we both agree. This is a great movie.
We were able to spend some time with a number of the key voice actors throughout the DragonBall Z series and movies and interesting learned that DragonBall Super is still very much in the early processes of development. While we were itching for details, the voice actors were equally excited for the series.
The main point that all the actors mentioned, was how excited they were with Akira Toriyama’s guiding hand in expanding the DragonBall universe and how the new movie is great fan service. (We fully agree).
The film will have a limited release in North American through August 12th. We highly recommend you check this out in theatres!
