Dragonball Z Battle of the Gods is the next chapter in the Dragonball Z movies and takes places prior to the Dragonball GT saga. It actually seems as if this saga erases the idea of Dragonball GT.

This story follows old crew as they must battle a deity named Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction. The way Lord Beerus even comes to them wanting to fight is a result of a dream he has. The dream showed him fighting a Super Saiyan God.

This leads him to the one man who beat Frieza, Aka Goku! Goku attempts to battle him as a level 3 Super Saiyan but get his ass handed to him. The only way he can battle him is if becomes a god himself.

This can only occur is 5 Saiyans will there power to him. The movie was great, the animation was beautiful and clean, and last but not least the writing was great and actually there are lines that had me rolling I was laughing so hard.
