With more than 20 years of game development under their belts, Mythic Entertainment’s main office in Fairfax, Virginia was shut down today by controlling company EA Games.
Most recently, Mythic has been responsible for such releases as “Warhammer Online”, “Dark Age Of Camelot”, “Dragon’s Gate”, and the “Dungeon Keeper” for mobile.
The quote Kotaku was able to get from EA:
“We are closing the EA Mythic location in Fairfax, Virginia, as we concentrate mobile development in our other studio locations. We are working with all impacted employees to provide assistance in finding new opportunities, either within EA or with other companies via an upcoming job fair.
