Disney confirmed via NextMovie, that TRON: Legacy leading man  will return as well. Garrett Hedlund, who played Sam Flynn the son Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), is set to return for the 3rd installment of this franchise.

No details still on what is to occur in Tron 3 BUT one would obviously expect Kevin Flynn to return as well as Tron himself, which is funny since Tron isn’t even the fucking lead character as much as a background character. All that is known is that this movie is expected to explore life and death in the digital realm.
