Do you remember the days when giant monsters destroying cities in movies were done with practical effects models rather than CGI?  Yeah, it’s been awhile, huh?  Good thing Godzilla: Resurgence is happening!

There just happens to be a brand new film featuring everyone’s favorite nuclear lizard done in the classic Japanese style, and we have the first trailer for it:

This new film will be directed by Shinji Higuchi and Hideaki Anno, and the latest casting update features Hiroki Hasegawa, Yutaka Takenouchi and Satomi Ishihara.

Film is set to be released in July 29th, 2016.
