We’ve been WAITING since last ComicCon for any footage of the upcoming Goosebumps film. The original “Goosebumps” was a series of scary young adult books, and later a live action TV series. Seriously, a bit of 90’s childhood coming to life is exciting, and actually looks pretty good.  We even have the first poster now, too!

The trailer feels like a Goosebumps/Jumanji random craziness getting loose in town:

Zach Cooper portrayed by Dylan Minnette is the new neighbor, who is trying to get in with the neighbor girl Hannah played by Odeya Rush. The young kid teams up with the niece of young adult horror author R.L. Stine played by Jack Black, after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Greendale, Maryland.

Goosebumps is scheduled to hit theaters October 16th, 2015.
