Haven, a Syfy original program loosely based on Stephen King’s “The Colorado Kid“, premiered in July of 2010 and has built a loyal fan following.

For the past four years viewers have joined Officer Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) in her journey to solve the supernatural troubles of Haven, Maine. She is joined in her efforts by her partner Officer Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant), local smuggler Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour), and beginning in the second season Dwight Hendrickson (Adam “Edge” Copeland) the local ‘cleaner’.  While they argue, as fans will, over their favorite pairings, characters, and episodes, there is no question in their minds as to whether or not Haven should be renewed.

The question is, does Syfy agree? With no word yet on whether Haven could come back for a season 6, the unannounced air date for the second half of this season, and switching the air date/time mid season last fall; there are fans who feel that perhaps Syfy isn’t as invested in the show as it could be, and there’s an unfortunate precedent: Warehouse 13, Eureka, even Battlestar Galactica (all popular Syfy originals) never made it past season 5 and Haven fans wonder if their show is next.

There’s 13 episodes left in Haven‘s season 5 but the #renewhaven and #haven6 hashtags have already begun, and are being used by not only fans, but the cast and crew as well. So perhaps there’s hope, after all if anyone can solve the ‘Syfy Season 5 ‘Curse’ Trouble‘, it’s Audrey Parker.

Seasons 1-4 of Haven are currently available on Netflix. The second half of season 5 airs at some point in 2015 on SyFy.
