I’ll be honest, I always thought the television series Heroes was a prime example of what NOT to do with a superhero television series. Some characters were incredibly powerful while others were almost useless and the storylines quickly became insanely incoherent. I really liked the first season, abandoned the series by the end of the second season and the whole thing eventually imploded by the fourth season causing NBC to cancel the series.

But with comic book movies and television series making piles of cash and bringing the ratings bacon home, I guess it was inevitable that NBC would bring the series back to life. The television network has now finally given us our first look at the series with key art and promotional photographs, check them out below!

Sporting a mostly new cast, Heroes Reborn is bringing back Jack Coleman as H.R.G., Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian, Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, and Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman. New cast members include Zachary Levi (ChuckThor: The Dark World) along with Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time), Danika Yarosh (Shameless), Judith Shekoni (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2), Kiki Sukezane (Death Yankee 3), Henry Zebrowski (A to Z) and Gatlin Green (Criminal Minds).
