This weekend I had the chance to waste about 2 hours of my day. Hot Tub Time Machine 2 takes place obviously after the first one and is a murder mystery.  In the opening scenes “Violator” gets his dream of a shotgun to the dick.  Only at this time he does not want to die. With the help of the Time Machine they blast into the future to try and save their friends life but what they find is not what they were expecting.

The story is blah which is to be expected considering the first one didn’t have much of one, but that one was at least very funny.  This one was standard lets try and squeeze whatever we can knowing the original killed.  Well folks I am here to tell you to save your time and your money.   The jokes were forced and the story was stupid.  The film ALMOST redeemed its self with its ending but then they needed to do the credits ending, which really to me didn’t make sense. So if you are looking for a movie to see this weekend go to Kingsmen. That film was great.

If I were to rate this film on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it about a 5.
