The last Blockbuster, not to be confused with the Last Unicorn, will be getting its own beer. The one Blockbuster Video remains in the U.S., can be found in Bend, Oregon. Capitalizing on its fame, as being known as the highlander of video rental stores, it has joined forces with the brewing house 10 Barrel Brewing to make a once in a lifetime beer.
According to Business Insider
“at all six 10 Barrel pub locations, including the two in Bend, for a limited time.”
The beer will be named The Last Blockbuster, and branded with the iconic chain’s colors, blue-and-yellow.
Accoriding to Beer Street Journal
the beer has nuances of red licorice.
This will be clearly targeted to all those nostalgia questing individuals who no longer want to live on this planet or in this era anymore. So I say get your old Blockbuster Video card
A bottle of Surge and one of these bad boys and strap in for a fun filled journey down memory lane back when you could watch any movie with ease and not have to hope that it is on Hulu or Netflix or then dredingly rent it from iTunes.
