Even though we’re still miffed The Lego Movie wasn’t eligable for “Best Animated Feature”, the “Best Original Song” nomination was very well deserved for the Tegan and Sara crafted “Everything Is Awesome”.  If you missed the Oscars last night, one of the highlights was most definitely the live performance of “our jam”.

The LEGO Movie Sequel is set for a May 25th 2018 opening, with three spin-off films coming as well including LEGO Ninjago on September 23th 2016, The LEGO Batman Movie on May 26th 2017, and another Untitled LEGO Movie on May 24th, 2019.
