As we’ve said already, this is NOT the upcoming Disney live action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, that’ll show up eventually.  This is a film from Conglomerate Media and Kingsway Productions, starring Shirley MacLaine, Poppy Drayton, and William Moseley.

This trailer dropped this afternoon, of course causing a big stink where folks were posting it claiming it’s the Disney version.  Which it’s not.  Obviously.


You know, it doesn’t look so bad.  What if it’s good?
This version of The Little Mermaid is set to open sometime in the summer of 2017.
