Sometimes I really miss the first days of Fear Factor.  No really, Joe Rogan doing his best to test the limits of contestants while they reenacted professional stunts with no training and drank horrible things like 100 year old eggnog.

If you too wax poetic about the more Hollywood-ized action/adventure reality shows, then do we have some good news for you!  It would appear that a competition series based on the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie film Mr & Mrs Smith is heading our way.

Deadline reports the show will feature married couples that compete in a high-octane, high-stakes game, with the producers offering no further details. In the movie, a bored married couple is shocked to discover that they are both assassins hired to kill each other.

We don’t know what network the show will be pitched to yet, nor if the project will be officially greenlit.  But I’d watch the heck out of it.
