Marvel is getting some recognition from the Oscars this year.  The superhero films up for an award are Guardians of the Galaxy for Make-up and Visual Effects, and as well as both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and 20th Century Fox owned Marvel property X-Men: Days of Future Past for Visual Effects.

There are clearly other nominations but who really cares when you have Marvel up for an award… would be Marvel-ous if they won 😉 ohhhhh puns!
