In an entertaining and sassy interview conducted by Deadline, Robert Downey Jr. discussed many things such as turning 50, babies, The Judge, and OH! how if Mel Gibson was ever tapped for the role of director, RDJ would return for Iron Man 4.

Due to some ill-spoken words, Gibson had fallen into less favorable standing among those running Hollywood. Personally, I think Mel has atoned for some thoughtless actions..plus RDJ seems to have faith that Gibson regrets his actions and should be given another chance, so much so that he has thrown in a promise that if Mel was cast as director by Marvel, RDJ would join up as Tony Stark.

That would be the tits or to quote Mr. Downey, “that movie would be bananas.”
