Now, is this cool? Fuck yes! Is it practical? Fuck no! The creators of the device describe it as:

While it is a badass device, it also has no real life applications other than maybe igniting a campfire from 30 feet away. Possibly it could be used as a defensive weapon– but I don’t think burning another man to death is high on my priority list AND I don’t think there’s enough fire to really do that. But it may freak the crap out of someone.
