Sculptor continued profile. Let’s get a tiny bit personal:
.
– What are your goals as a sculptor?: I’m working on developing my own line of figures for mass production in the near future. It’ll be a Kickstarter thing, and it’s tentatively called Hot Flossy Babes. As far as long-term goals, world domination like every other madman.
.
– Where there any defining moments in your life that have influenced your creative style?: There have been a few things that probably had some profound effect on the direction my career and style have taken. As a child, I’d be riveted to the television when the credits ran at the end of The Muppet Show since one of the puppet builders was also named Tim Miller. I think subconsciously that steered me toward special effects which I later migrated from to doing collectibles. As far as what may have influenced my STYLE, I was enthralled the moment I first picked up an Arthur Adams X-Men. I would spend countless hours trying to duplicate his women.
phpds2WfBBombshells-WonderWoman3.
– Was there anything that initially kicked off the want to Sculpt or was it something that gradually happened?:
That’s a very long story that I’m sure we don’t have room for. Let’s just say I started hanging out with f/x artists from ILM, they became a bad influence on me, and I picked up some clay and started making things with it. It was a very organic process.
.
– If you could have any power from a Comic character, what would it be/why?: If I could have any superpower, it would either be super-human speed or time manipulation because deadlines suck.
.
.
– Favourite Comic artist of all time/why?: My favorite comic artist of all time is definitely Arthur Adams because MAN he can draw them womens!
.
– Favourite Comic writer of all time/why?: Stan, Stan’s the man.
Lady Death.
– What is your favourite piece made to date?: It would be either the AH! Lara Croft PF, Lady Death PF, or the Bombshell Harley Quinn… you can decide for me.
.
– If you could collaborate with anybody on a special piece, who would it be/why?: It’s a long list, but at the top would be J. Scott Campbell and Stanley Lau. I just love both of their styles.
.
– Have you ever had any strange requests on things to make?: Some cat offered me a stupid amount of money to do some quarter scale statues of Japanese rope bondage. It was just a bit outside of my comfort zone so I turned the gig down.
.
– How long have you been creating your amazing sculptors?: I began sculpting in ’96 but as for when the amazing ones started, I dunno.
.
– If you could ask any comic Character ONE question and get the truth, what would it be?: I’d ask Wonder Woman if she uses double-sided tape.
Gimli15393.
– Likes: Sushi, puppy-breath, chillaxing with the missus.
.
– Dislikes: In no particular order: lewdness, jackrolling, sneak thievery, chloral hydrating, … strangulation and enthusiastic corruption of the public good.
.
– Favourite joke: The one with the priest, the Englishman, and the dachshund. Love that one!
.
– Any thank you’s/shoutouts?: I’m grateful to everyone that’s ever sent work my way, well, most of them anyway, to my friends, family, and mostly to my ever-so-gracious-and-patient wife.
